Business as usual is sinking your ship.
I help CEOs and executives navigate from fear-based decisions to authentic leadership — with insights from 32 days solo across the Atlantic and 35 years building companies. Change your perception, and the world around you will change.
Sound familiar?
These are the signals that something needs to change. Not because you're failing — but because you're ready for the next level.
The loneliness of command
Everyone looks to you for answers. But who do you turn to when you're uncertain? The higher you climb, the fewer people truly understand.
Running on autopilot
You're executing the playbook that got you here. But deep down, you sense it won't get you where you need to go next.
The organization resists change
"We've always done it this way." You see what needs to happen, but getting your team to see it feels impossible.
The mask is getting heavy
You've perfected the confident leader persona. But maintaining it is exhausting. You wonder what would happen if you led from a more authentic place.
Complexity is overwhelming
AI, disruption, new competitors, changing markets. The pace of change has accelerated beyond what any single person can process alone.
You've lost the edge
The drive that built your success has faded. Decisions feel mechanical. You're going through the motions, wondering where the passion went.

32 days that changed everything
In 2003, I became the first Scandinavian to race singlehanded across the Atlantic in the Mini Transat. 4,500 nautical miles. A 6.5-meter boat. Both autopilots broken. I finished 11th out of 70.
That crossing taught me more about leadership, decision-making, and navigating uncertainty than any business school ever could.
But I'm not just a sailor who gives motivational talks. I've spent 35 years as an entrepreneur, building companies and creating new market niches. I know what it's like to sit in the captain's chair.
The expeditions that shaped my perspective
- Greenland 2001: Skipper alongside expedition leader Ola Skinnarmo
- Antarctica 2002: Part of the world's first all-female yacht expedition
- Mini Transat 2003: First Scandinavian to race singlehanded across the Atlantic
I'm a friendly truth-teller who asks the questions you've been avoiding — and stays with you while you find the answers.
